About presenting in skill exchange program

Suppose, you want to get paying students, present on the Skill Exchange session that happens every Thursday at 7 pm PKT.

Follow one format from the formats given below:

New Tutors who teach academic subjects (Eng, Math...)

  • Your Introduction (name, relevance, anything special/ unique)
  • Sample for your introduction
  • Relevance: If you're a Maths tutor, tell how many students & which grades you've taught, which syllabus are you comfortable with, and if you've taught in schools. Why should any student or parent consider you instead of other tutors?
  • Talk about how you teach a topic
  • Use the whiteboard/ or screen-share, write while you explain, and turn on your camera.
  • Show what kind of homework/assignments you give, at which frequency
  • List the questions that you typically ask in the session to make it interactive
  • Share how do you assess your student's learning/progress

Tutors who teach courses (Spoken Eng, Arabic, any other)

  • Your Introduction (name, relevance, anything special/ unique)
  • Relevance: Tell why do you teach this course, who has it benefited so far, and how?
  • Talk about Course Details
    • i.e. which audience - age group, gender is it for?
  • Are people able to earn after taking this course?
  • What's the difficulty level and if there is any prerequisite.
  • What is the time commitment needed from the course participants.
  • Use the whiteboard or screen-share, write while you explain, turn on your camera.
  • Show what kind of assignments you give, at which frequency
  • List the questions that you typically ask in the session to make it interactive
  • Share how do you assess participants' progress
