Description

Grade 1 Ready! is an engaging foundation course designed for children who are about to start Grade 1. The course helps children build the academic, language, mathematical, and classroom-readiness skills they need to begin school with confidence.

Instead of simply memorizing facts, students learn through games, stories, phonics activities, puzzles, worksheets, speaking practice, and interactive challenges.

Across eight weeks the course covers English and phonics, handwriting, early mathematics, general knowledge and thinking skills, and the everyday classroom habits that help a young child settle into school, such as following instructions, taking turns, asking for help, and working independently.

Course Features

Interactive Lessons – Child-friendly activities keep young learners engaged in every class.

Phonics Practice – Early reading work builds letter sounds into words and simple sentences.

Fun Maths Games – Mental-maths challenges make numbers feel like play rather than drill.

Handwriting Development – Guided practice builds correct pencil grip and neat letter formation.

Storytelling and Speaking – Speaking activities grow vocabulary and the confidence to use it.

Printable Worksheets – Practice activities reinforce every lesson between classes.

Regular Revision – Mini-quizzes check that each skill has settled before moving on.

Individual Attention – Every child receives direct feedback on their own work.

Adjusted Difficulty – Activities are matched to the child's current learning level.
