Description
This course is designed to facilitate a smooth transition for students from block-based programming to the text-based realm of Python. By emphasizing Python's simplicity and readability, students will learn the fundamentals of this powerful programming language. The curriculum includes understanding how Python differs from block-based coding, defining and initializing variables, and exploring the syntax variations between the two programming styles. Students will also be introduced to essential programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, and function definitions, all of which are crucial for building more complex applications.
Throughout the course, students will gain hands-on experience using Python libraries like Turtle for graphics and Random for generating random numbers.
