She seems like a good teacher; she was talking about realizing our self-worth, and I think it makes sense that we must value our struggle, our patience, and our efforts rather than finding external accolades or factors; we usually associate success with money, fame, or popularity. If someone was not a good student and later earned well or was professionally sound, they would mark success. And on the other hand, if someone is professionally not doing great but was a very sharp student, they may not value those merits or certificates that were once a reason for pride. So yeah, you must learn to overcome weaknesses by learning about them and working to get rid of them. But we shouldn't be ashamed of what we could not achieve in the end.
